Studio Nedlief — Creative Direction & Brand Strategy

Studio Nedlief is my day job. It’s a small design studio I own and run, where I move between thinking and making, shaping both the strategy and the craft behind how a brand looks and feels. Some projects I lead end to end, others I join as one part of a bigger team, slotting into an existing design department. Either way, my job is the same: understanding a founder’s vision and helping it come to fruition through thoughtful creative work and marketing.

The case studies below show what that looks like in practice. Heritage fashion brands

rebuilt from a handful of assets into names people recognise such like Jack Wills, Aubin & Wills and Superdry. An outdoor equipment maker whose following grew from 9.7k to 90k, organically, with DMM Wales. A luxury yacht builder given a mark that works as well on a hull as it does on a business card with Grey Yachts. Period properties brought to life for buyers before a single brick was laid.
Different industries, different team structures, but the same result each time. A vision that’s been properly thought through into a brand that has it’s own unique identity and feeling.

None of this started as a brief. It started as a conversation, someone telling me what they were trying to make, out loud, for the first time. If that’s where you are, get in touch.
